Hey everyone,
I’m moving up from El Paso soon. I want to move to work with IATSE Local One as a stage hand/ technician. I need $35k income a year (for 3 years) with Local adjacent houses to get my card.
The (NOT STAGE HAND RELATED) company I’m with has a location in Bethel, CT. Is moving to Bethel CT close (i.e tolerable) enough to work in the city with Local One on the weekends/ whenever possible?
Is it even advisable? Would y’all say I should just bite the bullet and move to the city?
