This isn't one of those things where I just want to go against my lease and sneak a cat in my apartment for funsies.
I've been through some traumatic events recently and my therapist suggested an ESA. I told her that my building doesn't allow pets of any type. She stated with the correct documentation, there are laws that work in my favor. The only thing I will have to do is go through the proper channels and formally present documentation to my landlord.
I've began researching this and it appears to be true, but I want to know if anyone has had any experience with this.
Thanks
