Hello all!
I have a couple job interviews lined up in NYC, some of which I feel very confident about so it’s highly likely I’ll be needing to move there soon. I don’t know many people in the city, and I would like to save more of my take home pay than it would cost to live alone so I’m hoping to find a roommate. Someone I hopefully get along with very well on a personal level and hang out with.
Apartment logistics: - Aiming for no more than 2k a person - Preferably in Manhattan cause all my job interviews in the Financial District and it would be nice to have a short commute. Plus I lived in center city Philly the past couple years and really love downtown life. - I have a dog, so looking for obviously a dog friendly place. It would be nice to be near a park for me to take him to. BIG plus if you also have a dog as well so they can play while we’re at work. - Prefer if the bedrooms are not broom closet sized - For everyone’s sake the kitchen should have a dishwasher lol.
About me as a person: - 31M - Bi and ENM so looking for someone not judgey about alternative lifestyles/someone whose not gonna get all weird if I occasionally bring a boy home - In finance? I guess? My undergrad is in finance. My masters is in CS but literally the only jobs hiring programmer is finance so I guess I’m going back to that field - Big extrovert and people person - I guess like a medium on the cleanliness scale? Like I don’t wanna live in like a frat house level of disheveled but if someone is an absolute neat freak that may have some contention - My main hobbies are video games, bar trivia, and going to metal concerts (I’ll keep the music volume down for you)
So yeah that’s my intro. If you think we’d get along as friends and are looking for the same things hit me up!
