Finishing Secondary Education Bachelor’s Degree, But Hoping to Teach ASAP: Please Help
Post Body

Hi, y’all! I am currently working on a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. I have 3 semesters left in my journey. I taught 2020-2021 7th Grade ELA and Social Studies. I moved to NYC in June 2021 and stepped away from teaching because I thought I couldn’t teach out here without my degree.

I recently learned of some teachers in NYC that are teaching with no degree at all, and it made me question if that is an option for me as no occupation makes me happier than teaching.

Just reaching out to see if anyone has any more information on how I may begin teaching again while I finish my degree, and what schools accept teachers without a degree. Interested in all ideas and opportunities.
