Post Body

Hey /NWT

As the title says I’m a Nova Scotian that got a job with a company doing the same line of work I’m doing now on a 6 week on, 2 week off turn around.

Do you have any advice for outsiders coming to stay in Hayriver for the foreseeable future?

I heard the food is incredibly expensive so advice on how to survive as cheap as possible would be appreciated as I’m trying to make as much money as possible.

Areas/places to avoid?

Is it generally safe/friendly? I heard tell of guys having their suites broken into and tools/clothing stolen often.

Thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing everyone’s experiences!
