How would you describe your sense of humor ?

The medical literature says that our (NVLD people) sense of humor is peculiar and I had a psychiatrist who noticed that trait in me long before I was diagnosed with NVLD by someone else.

I would say mine is very sarcastic and deadpan. It is very similar to Aubrey Plaza’s.

I’ve had a hard time being friend with some people who just doesn’t understands this type of humor. Maybe because it requires a certain level of abstraction and verbal IQ to understand the 2nd degree ?

It sucks, I’ve started a trade (blue collar) program and I’m having a rough time getting along with other students.

Because my jokes are sarcastic, deadpan and sometimes “offensive”, I often end up being perceived as mean, verbally aggressive or cold.
