I found this vintage Kmart acrylic frame with a photo that was probably taken in the early 80’s. It was of a young man standing in front of a Christmas tree.

So naturally I referred to my 2000 era porno magazine stash to find a good image to use as a reference. I used one shot paint for this one and found that I like a blotchy skin tone layer. I don’t know why but the way the paint reticulates and isn’t as transparent feels right.

One shot lives up to its name, especially when working on the outline, I mess up and have to own it.
