He walked into the hotel lobby, his tie loosened, hair somewhat disheveled, bags under his eyes. Singapore to NY was 18 hours, regardless of how much room there was in business class.

He slid onto the bar stool and exhaled. “Hemingway, up” he said as he lost himself in his own thoughts.

That's when he felt her gaze, from across the bar.
