Hi all, we are K&E, a Canberra Couple. We have been running private parties for our friends for the last four years. We have been on Reddit for a while, and we have a little advice for those who choose to take it.

Couples, if you are a couple taking their first step, doing that without understanding the scene and having your communication as a couple agree to and understood between you is fraught with danger. Find genuine people to discuss the lifestyle with, educate yourselves, and determine your agreed boundaries before you start. Understand you may need to provide a photo of yourselves together to verify with couples/ladies or get an invite to a party (we ask for a face pic before the first non-play meeting post that people receive their invite to a party.) If someone asks you for a xxx /nude pic straight away, that's a huge red flag.

Ladies, it's a fun world out there, but watch out for scams. Never send xxx pics, and always do a face meet (no play) before organising a play date. Establish limits for a safe environment and determine what are the no-go for you.

Guys, let's face it: couples and ladies will find you, but there are some things you can do to improve your chances. Messaging

1. Have a clearly written, polite ad that highlights your best qualities and is as detailed as possible.
2. Clear face pic (you wont get anywhere without one).
3. When messaging someone, write a clear, specific message. Read their message/ad/profile first and address key points.
4. Don't pretend to be something you are not, eg guys pretending to be couples. If it blows up in your face, your name will be mud in the community. You will never get invited to a party.

We are happy to chat with anyone, but guys we will not get back to you as there are just too many of you (Sorry).

Our party invite process

• Contact us with information about you (not just hi)
• If you are cheating, we don't pass judgment, but we don't want any grief/drama at our door or parties so it's a polite no from us
• A face picture is a good way to build trust, and if you contact us, we are happy to have a chat first before we exchange pics (we will usually ask you guys to go first)
• We usually ask to meet at our local. Otherwise, we spend the weekend driving all over Canberra
• A non-play meet between us (1 cancel early is ok; last minute happens, you might get one of those, standup will get you no further reply

We have now met two couples from Reddit, and it's been a success, as they were both lovely. We have had two no-shows and countless fakes that refuse to meet and want pictures straight away. So it is possible but you have to be prepared for disappointment.
