Right?!
I get the criticism from Obama's presidency for being too moderate.......but Biden's passed more progressive legislation than anyone since LBJ. Arguably FDR.
These people are morons.
Progressives make up MAYBE 25% of the Democratic Party, and the alternative is Trump.  Despite that, Biden’s first term has been a veritable grab-bag of progressive priorities, and that’s with closely divided government in Congress.
I don’t know what kind of fantasy world you’re living in where these factors aren’t in play, but it sure isn’t based in reality.  Making the perfect the enemy of the good is how conservatives get elected.
Filibusters on Supreme Court nominees haven't been allowed since 2013, Dude 🙄
So you're gonna make it easier for the guy who's objectively worse, huh?
Pretty smooth-brained approach there, Buddy.
Suburbs were one of the key parts of the coalition that put Biden over the top in 2020.
Nope.
What happens is that there are two larger entities who have a chance at winning it all, and anyone peeling off to support a third party is basically throwing it for the one they oppose.
It happened with Perot in 1992; Nader in 2000; and Stein in 2016.
I despise Trump the burning fury of a thousand suns, my Dude 🤣🤣 Literally never voted GOP in my life, and I'm sure not going to start now that they've gone full-tilt fascist.
Criticism is great! I just think that a great deal of it against Biden is completely ignorant of the fact that he isn't a king, and was dealing with hurdles to passing his legislation that his predecessors haven't faced. It's also kind of crazy for progressives to advocate for folks like the Green Party, as they aren't a serious political entity in this country, and probably never will be. I hate the political duopoly, too, but we're stuck in it, and in that context, any political advocacy in a general election that isn't squarely aimed at re-electing Democrats is tantamount to supporting the Republican party. No getting around that.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Biden is the most progressive president in fifty years, if not since FDR. That isn't an opinion -- it's a fact.
And the last prominent thing the Green Party did was run a Russian stooge named Jill Stein in 2016, who was a major factor in Trump squeaking by with the Electoral College win.
It's not possible to get elected president outside some kind of party apparatus, and the fact that you seem to believe otherwise tells me that you don't understand what you're talking about 🙄
............I have no idea what you're saying, and frankly, I'm not sure you do, either.
None of that is even remotely responsive to my point.
All third parties do is weaken one of the two legitimate parties, and help the other win. That's the only possible outcome in our electoral system.
