AKA interest as a rising senior
Post Body

Hi everyone! The AKAs at my university just recently crossed their new SP23 line. It had been my first time to an NPHC probate and I was just wowed at the incredible performance and the amount of strong women before me. Attending the probate and later diving into the rabbit hole that is Reddit and Instagram only furthered my specific interest on the AKAs for their poise, class, rich history, and sisterhood.

I am currently in an MGC sorority that I joined my sophomore year and have realized after many semesters of stepping up and helping our organization through leadership positions and attending events, that my efforts and expectations don’t align with many sisters within our chapter and larger organization as a whole and it would be best for me to leave on amicable terms. With my last year at school, I wanted to reach back to my roots and find a community I truly resonate with on campus and for life.

I wanted to ask what would be the prospects of the AKAs in my school possibly having a line in the next year if they crossed over 15 new women? And would I maybe not be accepted given that I was in MGC?
