How to link up with a friend/relative

Hey folks. As previously mentioned in another post, I'm just getting back into the game after a half year hiatus. My 10yo nephew has been playing it too (still in his original system, galaxy, maybe even planet). My sister (his mom) and I hought it would be neat to pay him a visit with my little fleet, maybe even give him resources if that's possible. I was going to try to get him to my base, but it seems the last update properly nuked that idea for a while

How do I go about getting and using his coords?
