Anyone have a problem or possible fix for not being able to retrieve your grave in the middle of space?

I fell through the floor of my frigate while jumping down the ladder on the side of my frigate in which I was fixing. So of course I died in the middle of space, it spawned me at the space station and when I went out to get my stuff at my grave it wont give it to me, so I was wondering if others where having this problem and if there was a work around?
