I kind of wished when you took over a capital ship in battle that after you took it over you had to fix it

I mean I go in there and I destroy the engines and all of the defensive stuff, the shields, etc. I take over the ship and then miraculously the entire ship is fully 100% repaired. Wouldn't it be good if you actually had to fix all the stuff?
