Hawkins was making NBA history

Found this article about Hawkeye and the Pelicans from one of the local news papers. It talks about how well he was playing and what he was doing. Then him getting benched.
One thing of note, among many that stands out too me is Jordan had made more 3 pointers then any other rookie in the history of the NBA at the time Coach Green started sitting him. Doing something no one else has done shouldn't get you benched.
