Hi everyone, and thanks for making this a great community. I've been playing since day 1. Re-started after 1.2 dropped, ground my way back up to a 48-slot A class hauler, learned the languages. Established a base on a lush planet until I realized that EVERYTHING was bitey. Since then, I've just enjoyed exploring the galaxy.

My question is that there are some things I haven't done yet that I think might be impeding my gameplay. Building a base and completing the missions to get things - I'm thinking advanced mining tool amongst others (certainly less of an issue now that I can buy a lot of what I require after the 1.3 updates).

So how important is some of the stuff I lack? I enjoy the game now, but am wondering what I am missing out on... thanks in advance!
