Hello everyone,

First order of business: the retention vote has concluded and the results are below. A total of 104 votes were cast for the referendum on IfYouSeekAmy and a total of 103 votes were cast for the referendum on Sir Cle Jerk

Per the format set by the NCTC, a simple majority was needed to retain each member. Therefore, both IfYouSeekAmy and Sir Cle Jerk will retain their CRC spots for this upcoming season.

Community Election

The results of the referendum vote means there are two open spots on the CRC. The votes for these seats will be conducted in a ranked choice format. The specific counting method will be finalized over the next few days and announced before voting begins. You may expect a public discussion thread on the CRC applicants by the morning of Friday, August 14th. Currently, the vote is scheduled to open late Saturday, the 15th and run through Tuesday, the 18th.

Lastly, we plan to finalize our favored CRC structure and future election formats before voting opens on Saturday. We have seen and are weighing the community discussion thread in our conversations.
