NJT Bus Schedules

What are these schedules? I got on the 7:55 bus to get off at 31st and Bergenline in Union City, the very next stop. I always check the schedules because something fishy is always going on. The schedule said the bus was going to Union City, the driver said he was going to Union City, yet I end up by the meadowlands. What was supposed to be an 8 minute ride ended up being 20 plus an Uber home
