I’m glad I found this community. I’m really struggling here. As you can see from the title, NIPT and PGS was normal. However, NT came back with a 1:98 chance of DS. I guess since NIPT was negative, I’m more scared about what is going on that is causing my hormones to be see off. I’m also trying to figure out what exactly flagged us as Trisomy 21 positive. Age: 30 IVF Age of person at time of egg retrieval: 29 NT: 2.4mm NT MoM: 1.5 hCG MoM: 2:11 PAPP-A MoM: 0.56
He also ran DIA but my understanding is that really doesn’t matter in first trimester. I think he was getting a baseline?? Idk DIA MoM 1.96
I’m just wondering was has given us such an increased chance compared to others. I’ve seen some big blood serum numbers or NT numbers around the internet and their chance of Trisomy 21 always seems to be lower than ours. I don’t get it. Is it my hCG? Is it my PAPP-A? If it isn’t DS, I’ve seen placental issues thrown around. What does that even mean?
