Twins in NIcU - visitation restriction concerns
Post Body

Our twin girls were born at 32 weeks and are now 2 weeks old. Our hospital only allows one parent to visit at a time (covid precautions) so it’s been difficult splitting our time and visiting each twin during our visits - it makes me feel like the girls aren’t getting enough time with us because we’re forced to do this :( I spend 7:30am-1:30/2p in the NIcU and that allows only one “touch time “ per girl since I have to do the 8am with one and the 11am with the other. I’ve been holding each of them for those couple/few hours and pumping /lunch in between. My husband comes after work ~5-7pm. I feel guilty that I don’t make it back at night but I’m just overwhelmed and exhausted. Any advice / anyone going through something similar?
