Yesterday we came home on a monitor before the dr left for the day he said not to let him go 4 hours without eating. Last night we hit that 4 hour mark tried to wake him up after about 15 20 minutes of trying I called the NICU to ask what to do because I was getting anxious they asked how often and how much he was eating and for 4 feedings before he hit the 4 hr mark he was eating ever two hours and around 4 oz sometimes just 10 mls under. She told me it sounded like he was cluster feeding and that he was probably just still full and happy and that he’d probably wake up in an hour or 2 but to not let him go longer than six hours.
About 40 minutes later he was up and ready to eat. Well now we are hitting another 4 hour between eating and the eating habits this morning were pretty similar and he again really isn’t showing signs of waking up.
I keep checking him and his monitor he looks great and his vitals are perfect I’m just really anxious that he’s sleeping too much I guess. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Before he started this nap he has been awake for about an hour or so then he ate and fell asleep during his time awake we did some tummy time and so skin to skin. I’m just really nervous. I’m hoping he’ll wake up like he did last night but his habits here aren’t the same as when he was in the NICU and I could use some advice to easy the anxiety please
I hope so cause I’m just super anxious about literally everything
Before we left the hospital he was eating 120 mls every three hours so I don’t know why he’s eating more frequently but at the same volume

My oldest was term so I know that in itself makes a difference and he was a chunky monkey like my NICU baby is but he didn’t sleep this long until a couple months old and it had me worried
