Happy Tuesday!

I have been readjusting how I do my bets these days. I still like to base my bets on who is tired and traveling over analytics and numbers etc. For instance I like Vegas to stomp on Mr Wolf and his flames after a pretty disappointing loss yesterday to Colorado after having a pretty substantial lead heading into the final frame on the back to back. I like Detroit to regroup and bounce back with a Lyon or even Husso in net vs St Lou who is still struggling to score and not getting the best Binnington he can be lately.

With that said I have been getting paid by betting on the STORY lately. For instance Yesterday the story that paid off for me was a 2 point player prop for John Tavares vs his old team on Long Island. I cashed out on that one plus an anytime goal prop plus an anytime assist prop.

Tonight the main story I see is Connor vs Connor. I like combo of Connor at over 1.5 points with over 0.5 points for the new guy. I also like the combo prop of a goal from each of them. That puts the line in a nice place. There is also the little sub story of Bouchard point streak sitting at 11 and he will take sole possession of 2nd longest point streak for oilers defenceman at 12 games tonight over his new coach who currently sits in both first and second (side note if he gets close to 28 hoooo boy look out!)

So with that said I ask you redditland… what other stories am I missing for tonight? Which player is coming back to face his old team? What milestone have I left unturned that has cash underneath it? What part of the story am I missing? I would love to hear what ya’ll got too.

Another example Comin up I see the return of a Vilardi to Los Angelos after a bunch of time off with injury and playing his old team in LA for the first time since his trade. Tell me he isn’t going to score and his team isn’t going to try to help him get there especially with the timing of Kyle Connor getting a super similar knee injury as their leading scorer!? That shit is writing itself. lol.
