Hello guys! I have a question about NFT traits.

Say I release a collection of 1000 NFTs each with 5 traits that are randomly generated per NFT. Is it possible to have say 1 other variation of the released trait which is not released with the mint of the 1000 NFTs? I'll try explain this a bit better with an example:

Example: So for example let's say one of the traits that are unique are the eyes and there are 10 different types of eyes released with the mint of the 1000 NFTs but there is also an 11th unreleased eye (red eyes) that you wouldn't find on any of the 1000 released NFTs.

Question: In theory, would it be possible for someone with one of the 1000 minted NFTs choose to swap the "eyes trait" on his NFT with one of the unreleased eye traits (red eyes) say for example by winning a competition or something?

I hope this made sense as it was a bit iffy to explain!
