Of course, we've all heard about Tom Brady being a part-owner of the Raiders now, and there's been a lot of discourse surrounding it and his broadcasting career and stuff, but I have a different question. I've been hearing about Tom Brady wanting to own the Raiders for years, and my question is, why the Raiders? He's been talking about this for a while, and yet the Raiders are a team he was never on; they're in a division he never played in. Tom was a 49ers fan as a kid, and he played with the Pats and the Bucs, so why on earth would he want to own the Raiders of all teams? Does he have a reason? I have not been able to find one, mostly because the links that come up when I search anything that includes "Brady" and "Raiders" are all about his new ownership.
It’s not surprising.  Just leaving Oakland period probably added a massive boost to the value.
