Is Drake Maye’s stock suffering from typical prospect fatigue or is there fire behind the smoke?
Post Body

We see it pretty much every year, especially with QBs, before the draft when news is slow we end up with stories like Will Levis going top 2 or Zach Wilson being better than T-Law. Is that what’s happening with Maye? I routinely see JD ahead of him in mocks now and some even have him ranked below McCarthy. If you ask me personally there’s close to a zero percent chance he makes it past 3. I think Caleb is the clear cut #1 and him and JD are 2a and 2b. As a Pats fan I’d be more than happy with either of them.

On the flip side I could see why some might be overly concerned about his footwork and decision making. But waiting for the perfect QB prospect to come along is not a viable strategy imo and with his traits I think any QB needy team should be over the moon if they manage to draft him.

As a bears fan: a lot of it is because bears fans actually do think fields is a legit good QB….

I don’t know what kind of twilight zone fantasy world I’m living in, but here I am…
