When you search for a table of expected points, you get a lot of sites explaining what it is and how related stats like EPA/play work. However, nobody seems to provide the actual full data set (e.g. 2nd and 14 @ A37 = 0.XX expected points). Is this data available to the public, or is it all proprietary?
Baseball has a similar thing with the Runs Expected table, but that is easier to access because there are only 24 baserunner and out combinations. The football table would need several hundred or a few thousand entries depending on how deep you go with it (e.g. whether you have a data point for 2nd and 35).
