Normally in a situation like that, I would have. But I wasnât the one who took the gun in. Merely the person who gave it back to the customer.

It took everything I had not to tell the guy to fuck off and never come back.

Idk man, Iâve had a few people recently have issues with new guns. Then throw a fit because I wouldnât fix it for free under warrantyâŚ.
Most recent encounter was a guy with an A17 not ejecting. Fixed it in house as it was quicker and cheaper than shipping it to savage. He wasnât happy I tried to charge him $25 for labor. He kept going that âitâs covered under warrantyâ I told him shipping the gun isnât covered under warranty, and that cost is roughly $40. I also told him they generally have 4-6week lead time. I fixed his gun in 2 days. He still couldnât wrap his mind around the fact that I was cheaper and quicker than shipping his gun out for him. I donât know how people like him somehow can survive.
