Looking for a female friend for summer 2
Post Body

Hello, I'm a rising 2nd year. While I really do like being with the friend group I made during fall last year, it's been getting kinda boring and practically no one is on campus during summer. The reason I'm looking for females specifically is because all of the friends in my group are guys majoring in CS. I really don't mean to push stereotypes, but when it comes to stereotypes among male CS majors, they kinda all fit the bill. They're all mildly sexist, and whenever I mention anything about my platonic female friends (I am straight) they call me "the rizzler" and always try to imply weird shit. It was a little funny at first, but it's been getting really boring and annoying

Then there's also the fact that we can never seem to have a deep thought provoking conversation. Most of the stuff we end up saying are just brainrotty jokes. I'm not gonna lie, it's really funny in the moment and provides much-needed relief after a stressful day, but sometimes I just wanna sit down and yap about interesting shit, like the meaning of life, on our own. I've only ever had like one guy friend who can do this without things getting excessively unserious within a few minutes. So I'm looking for ppl who love to just talk and yap for hours on end.

I know i said I'm looking for a female friend, but that's only because I just want to diversify my friendships here a little. I'm not that great at being outgoing and asking classmates or people I pass by, so that's why I'm looking on reddit. I prefer ppl on the premed track or STEM majors, but I really don't care. I'm also into anime/manga, movies, and exploring Boston. If you're a guy/girl and think you can be a good friend to someone like me, please hmu! :)
