Changing my Wifi Extender's MAC Address

Hello So currently I am on my spotty main wifi and I had to change the MAC address to access the internet. ( I won't get into detail, but he shut off the wifi, and i was able to change the MAC address to access the internet ). I've been having really spotty connection, and that's why I got a NETGEAR WIFI Extender. I was wondering how I would be able to change the MAC address to reuse the WIFI Extender?
