anyone else find it hard to dance to songs you don’t know?
Post Body

maybe i’m just super picky but it’s SO HARD for me to go on stage to songs i’m not familiar with!!! especially if it’s house techno music with no words or a song in a different language. i’m a huge performer who really likes to emote when i’m dancing, i love synchronizing my moves to certain beats or lyrics, sometimes lip syncing along, or often doing floor work during verses and pole tricks during the chorus. at my old club we used to be able to pick our own music which i LOVED. customers would always compliment me on stage presence and other girls too. but this new club i work at has a DJ, and not just one, but several and even feature DJs too. they play weird remixes and dubstep type music and sometimes speed up the songs super fast to where it’s hard to find a rhythm to dance to. i feel awkward when i’m on stage and super lost. customers have complained about the music and girls get frustrated because it’s hard to know when songs start and end sometimes. anyone else deal w this kind of thing?

I’m so bad at dancing to country !!! I literally dance to everything but that 😭😭 and edm I suck at edm too I just go spinning around as fast as I can on the pole.

When I worked at the upscale ish club in my area I would dance to rnb and they’d occasionally put country on to attract the country guys and I’d be DYING Internally
