I've been waiting 3 months and NDIS still hasn't got back to me. How long does it usually take?

Sorry if this is considered a survey post, mods delete it if it is, I'm just trying to convince myself that they've not forgotten about me. I swear anything freely ran by the government always has the longest wait time! (I mean, I understand, but it's just frustrating because I've been waiting to get this for almost a year now, even though the application thingy was only submitted 3 months or so ago)
