If NDEs point to something real, then we have to look at the inconsistent nature of the reports.

Some people talk to Jesus. Some people see hell. Some people are told there is no hell and, instead, that God is all loving. Some people see religious figures from other religions.

These things are mutually inconsistent.

So, someone in these situations is being lied to. I have heard Christians say that non-Christian NDEs are lies from demons, which would mean that God empowered those demons to do that, making God complicit in the lie.

I have heard people say that they are given the experiences they need, so kind of like a comforting or corrective lie.

However you cut it, some level of lying is present.

Is this necessary to maintain the illusion of this world? Are these lies morally acceptable?

What are your thoughts?
