this isn't much NDE-related but im asking here because this is genuinely one of (or is) the only subs i trust when it comes to religion/spirituality or just life in general. doomscrolling on facebook ive been seeing people say they're having dreams of the rapture or something bad happening, and telling people to stock up. everytime someone makes a post like this, SEVERAL COMMENTS mention having the same dream or similar.
this really affects my anxiety (i have religous trauma). i start fearing for my life thinking that a rapture will happen, or something similar where ill get left behind/ceased to exist. I've learned to recognize fear-mongering but it's very hard to ignore these type of posts when several others say the same thing at the same time. i was looking forward to the solar eclipse thats also supposed to happen because i missed the last when i was younger, but to see everyone saying its a sign of the world ending is terrifying me!
Likely a cover up for some more political bullshit. But I have something that may help you with your fear of the world ending. It helped mine when I was younger anyways. Y'all can laugh if you want to, but the Insane Clown Posse has a song about the end of the world and all the horrible things that could happen but throughout the song Violent J's just strolling through town, just big chillin. At the end he says this;
To be on this planet living your life To see it all end would be alright You cant complain, you wouldn't die alone You could die with loved ones and die at home And you're not missing anything when you're gone Plus seeing it all end and what goes on To see this great world come to an end Would be the next best to seeing it begin
And honestly those last two lines ALWAYS give me chills and it really set my mind at ease when I first heard it. Give it a listen, or don't. Whatever you wanna do
