Could watching season 14-18 ruin the the seasons at the beginning?

I am approaching the end of season 13 and reading many of the comments in this group I feel like the seasons after this are only going to disappoint me and I fear they could ruin the whole show for me. On the other hand I am super curious and don’t want to let go soon.
Should I stop watching after season 13?
