Is Shaq the biggest disappointment in NBA history? I think he could have been the undisputed GOAT if he had any kind of work ethic at all. He was able to dominate with sheer size and strength. Imagine if he had actually developed a shot or some post moves. Or at least learned to make FTs. Imagine if he had the work ethic and mentality of Kobe or MJ. It's too bad he was content to just rely on his physical gift.
Anyone that's considered an almost unanimous top 10 player ever is absolutely not a disappointment
Ben Simmons is a real disappointment. 3x all star, finished 2nd in DPOY voting and was superb in every aspect of basketball besides one. He passed up that one shot that would've probably taken Philly to the conference finals, and he just hasn't even been bothered to try since. He had legit superstar potential, and now he's either not playing or not even starting when he is playing
