Restart mycareer

So I created a mycareer profile, but I want to delete it and start a new one.
But even after I deleted the profile, it still only gives me the option to change the players stats, name, etc. The characters appearance remains the same.
It does not give me the option to change appearance and use face scan.
Does anyone know how to start a new profile from zero?
