Changing defensive match-up in mycareer 2k22

I need help. Currently I'm playing against the Denver nuggets with the warriors. My mycareer player is 7'3" center but instead of assigning me to Jokic I keep getting Austin rivers and klay gets Jokic. This is killing my team but I can't see to switch who I defend. This isn't the first time. I keep getting assigned to guard guards like Chris Paul, Zach Lavine, and Devin booker. What can I do to get put on Jokic?
