The ARCA thread brought him back to mind.
How much credit should he get for Earnhardt’s titles at Childress?
I’ve heard that after 1992 he was either nudged out or was burnt out and walked away on his own. Does DE win those last two titles with him as crew chief and not Andy Petree?
No one under 45 remembers him for being anything but a field filler driver, and that sucks.
