I am finding myself in the chicken an egg situation. Has been doing housekeeping for the past 10 years and really want to change my career. I really want to join the automotive service technician program. I am someone who need to work (got a household to run) and that’s why I can’t join the program unless I have a sponsor. I am sure I am not the first person to be facing this situation.
How did you guys made it- finding an employer/sponsor?
What are the advice for me to be able to convince an employer to have me as an apprentice despite having zero experience in that field? —- I can clean, wash the floor and is a quick learner but what else do I need ?
If you had to resort to a student loan. How did you guys paid your living expenses?
Thank you
