hi guys, what do you say to drinking coke zero or just zero calorie/sugar carbonated drinks while in calorie deficit? does it affect the weight loss? i had a look on google and there are different opinions, studies suggest this, studies suggest that... i'd like to hear it from someone that has gone through it.
For me personally, it's an absolute yes.
I know there are plenty of people/studies saying that drinking diet drinks do not work for weight loss and just make you hungrier and fatter. I haven't found this at all, in my experience.
I find it does a really good job at keeping my hunger at bay until my next meal. It also satisfies my sweet cravings.
I do find that if I drink too much in a day (more than about 2 cans), then it can sometimes make me feel insatiably hungry. As with anything, in moderation it works well for me.
I've lost a total of 50 pounds over the years and diet drinks have done nothing but help me get there.
