I just made my first ever agar transfers from some stalled pf tek cakes. These jars were bought from a spore vendor and have moved far more slowly than any of my other jars or grain bags I purchased from other vendors. . They are tiny jars that I inoculated 9/2, but not a single one has fully colonized or even gotten close. I used store bought agar plates and a SAB for the transfers. Iām hoping to use the colonized agar to inoculate my first homemade grain jars and grow with monotubs instead of pf tek.
