1/4/23 Wednesday 104 Holy Days, Games, VOA pt. 1, and yet another top ten list.
Post Body

I've played alot of computer games since getting out. I've enjoyed Civ IV, Civ IV warlords and am now addicted to Civ IV beyond the sword. I also spent 193.3 hours finishing the Krynn series of the gold box games and have started on the Forgotten Realms series. The first in that series is clunky in it's playing style, alot of work to do simple things that in a game should be automatic. Kind of like how civilization over the years got rid of cleaning up pollution, Pools of Radiance needed to have easy options for healing. I think I'll save playing that for when I feel the need for some role playing.Dark Queen of Krynn Screenshot

I wanted to save the rewatching of Star Trek for when I had a 4k tv and then I was going to watch them all in chronological order but I binge watched Star Trek Prodigy in a few days which made the craving for tng unbearable. I'm already on season 4, alternating between Star Trek, Fringe, Titans and Station 11 while I play civ or surf the web. I'm more listening than watching.

With Christmas over, I feel a bit of relief as those in my environment feel the relief. I could tune out, or establish some sort of empathic filter but I choose not to. Just as my family choose not to call me. No Christmas wishes from friends or family. That was expected as I'm not in touch with them on the regular. Christmas doesn't have much meaning for me anymore; it's a secular and federal holiday with plenty of pagan imagery such as Santa, trees, wreaths an it's own special music and movies. That's what I did, listen to music and watch movies. I think my Christmases in prison were better when I had friends and got to play pathfinder or robotech or the like.

The VOA sucks. Like the bop and other bureaucracies they develop ineffective rules for the sake of showing that they are doing something. At the Aletha Wright shelter where I've been stuck staying since June, we are not allowed lighters nor otc's for self carry. They keep the lighters at the front entrance they pleasantly call the Welcome Station where we are greeted with a search with a faulty metal detection wand and attempted confiscation of lighters and matches so we don't do what exactly? Burn the cinderbrick building down? Smoke in the boys room? It's no challenge whatsoever to bring matches or lighters in not to mention crack and fentanyl. They also restrict all medications which they keep in a usually unlocked closet but it is behind a counter/desk. The procedure for taking medication is cumbersome as they count every pill and fill out a molehill of paperwork. Sometimes I couldn't get medication because the lazy, unprofessional staff member pointed or nodded to the sign that says when it is best to get medication. Even though it clearly says you can get medications at other times, their personal smartphone use of course took priority. Some of the otc's I've got need to be taken every four hours and they are not supposed to issue meds in the middle of the night, or so they told me.

The Donald is back on Twitter, and it's a good thing. he got more followers in one day than the pres and vice pres have in total, so there's still hope. He's the last best hope at draining the swamp. He's not part of the deep state which is why he has so much established press opposition on both sides. He's not a party to their secret agenda I talk about in The Reincarnator's Handbook. He didn't do much good for prisoners, and I personally count that as one of his bigger faults, but he did get me out 105 days earlier than I was going to under Obama. We need to rid ourselves of Mitch McConnell! The bastard receives money from private prisons.

Top ten things I love to do:
10: Game Playing: See above.
9: Divining: I read tarot cards professionally and it never ceases to amaze me what the cards are going to say.
8: Computer Building: My current laptop has more power than my state of the art gaming rig did when I got locked up and I look forward to having one with an M2 solid state drive for faster load times as well as a graphics card that can handle fast forwarding 4k movies.
7: Geopolitics and the economy: I find learning about where markets are heading and what is driving everything fascinating. I learn most of what I know from listening to the John Batchelor Show podcast. I also enjoy his stuffs on astronomy, but I skip the history lessons.
6: Screen Watching: Lately only on my laptop which I hope to replace with a desktop when I get my own place. I love both television shows and movies.
5: Writing: It's who I am, it's what I do. Two points if you get the reference.
4: Eating: My favorite foods include: pizza, fried chicken, hamburgers, cheesesteaks, hoagies, fries, mozzarella sticks, and steak/roast beef. I didn't include snacks or desserts which I eat often.
3: Pathfinder: My favorite thing I can do on the regular with my clothes on.
2: Spell Casting. It's rare an occasion that I get to unleash my spells upon the land and sea.
1: Sex!: Anyone who does not have this high on their list, that's doesn't have a physical impairment making sex awkward or painful is likely in denial.

No more communication, The lines are down, There's no resistance, They've all gone underground, Humanity is solvent, As warlords rule the Earth
