How do people get amethyst or even diamond card?

I went on auction and found there have been so many cards with high tiers. But 2K22 was released only two days ago, how did people get those cards? I have checked purchasable card packs, but none of it says it includes players, such as Rick Berry or Wilt Chamberlain. So I am wondering how people get those cards?
