How do you do gamers today we have 31 cards coming in Gauntlet spotlight sims, but we also have 6 idols cards. Let’s review them.

This set is the 4th set in idols series lll and headlined by invincible Steph curry. Overshadowed by the sims but a pretty good set of Tuesday cards.

Cards for today are

Galaxy opal Steph Curry (Good but Flawed)

Offence I’m not gonna lie, this card is underwhelming; despite the fact nobody expected anything of him in the first place. He has 99 in everything except standing dunk which is a pathetic 97 rating. Has every relevant Badge on HOF. Unfortunately this card has no post game, missing the relevant badges. This card has steady so steer clear on current. 100 dunk tendencies, Curry base on very quick, quick dribble style, can Curry, has pro 2 BTB. Comes equipped with 14 flashy dunk packages. As far as vitals go this card is 6’3 with a 6’3 wingspan and hot zones everywhere.

Defence This card is perfect as far as stats badges and tendencies but his vitals let him down big time. Does not have Kawhi stance so won’t be up to much on this end.

Should I cop? Unless you’re flight or going for jokic I would just get markelle fultz who is taller with a longer wingspan, 95 in all relevant stats and only 10k mt.

TL;DR Should be solid on Offence but will be a liability on Defence. Just get markelle fultz.

Dark matter Dominique Wilkins (Two-Way Weapon)

Offence The human highlight reel can do it all on this end. Every relevant badge except steady, 96 3 ball, 97 speed, base 8 (kinda trash but should be fine), 100 dunk tendencies, 14 showtime dunks, can Curry and has pro 3 as well as long athlete. He is 6’7 with a 6’10 wingspan and 5 hot zones so if his release isn’t awful, will be a weapon.

Defence This card can clamp up, all perimeter defence badges but will get in some sticky situations down low. He is missing most interior D and rebounding badges. Does not have Kawhi stance, 97 steal and contest tendencies.

Should I cop? Nique will be Fun, I would wait until he is around 50k if I were to cop him. Realistically however, he won’t be better than the opal cliff who is 6’11 with Kawhi stance, he will be more Fun, but if you want to make your team better by getting him. Don’t.

TL;DR He will be great on both ends and fun on offence but realistically, I would take cliff over him ONLY BECAUSE he is 12k Rn. In my opinion cliff is better but I love that card more than most.

Dark matter Mo Bamba ( Do-It-all Demi)

Offence Who would’ve guessed, perfect stats and badges. Has no steady so big on current. I would apply handles for days and then, you have somebody who spoiler alert, is arguably better than Tacko Tuesday. 12 showtimes, shifty dribble style, JJJ base. Pro 3 BTB, long athlete and 100 dunk tendencies. Big thing with Mo, 7’0 with a 7’10 Wingspan.

Defence Every defensive badge, every stat above 90 except steal which is 89. This card will be blocks and grab boards with Invincible Kareem because of his wingspan. Does not have the stance and has 90 steal and 99 contest tendency.

Should I cop? This card will be around 60k and for that price, I’m not gonna give a thumbs down. Is he better than Dino? Yes. Is yes 6X as good No. He is better release Dino Radja but you can sing a song whenever he does a highlight so yea, good value cop In my opinion.

TL;DR All around great but won’t pass the feel test. I would just get Dino, but if you want Dino and you are rich, Mo is the MAN.

Galaxy opal demar derozan ( Better than his dark matter)

Offence This is literally the dark matter, stat for stat and badge for badge. However he has trey Burke on very quick so he is better. It’s obviously a copy paste card who will be an absolute weapon just like his DM.

Defence Literally the Dark matter once again, there are fundamentally no differences. Will be good but not great on this end of the floor.

Should I cop? All I can say is yes. He will be 10k mt or less and he is basically radioactive tmac without steady? Yes please. He will be replacing opal Kobe in my squad.

TL;DR Just yes. Purchase this card. He is the same as his dark matter.

Galaxy opal Dell curry (He can shoot, I guess?

Offence Card will be a certified SNIPER. Base 28 on very quick which is chicken, 99 3, all shooting Badges on Hof expect deep fades. Unfortunately has steady. Dunking is only an 85, 95 tendencies, 14 showtime dunks. Quick dribble style, can Curry, pro 3 BTB, long athlete and hot zones everywhere. Only 6’5 with a 6’8 wingspan.

Defence He exists? No Kawhi stance, a fine height, great tendencies stats and badges but he won’t be that guy. Card missing the rebounding badges but even with them, he won’t be cleaning up any backboards any time soon.

Should I cop? He will be aggressively average. I would say he is better dunking J.J. Reddick or better shooting worse defensive matisse thybulle. To be honest worth the price but outshined by the other galaxy opal Sg/Sf in this set.

TL;DR Pink diamond reddick but can dunk better. Not bad, not great. Cop if you want. Very generic.

Galaxy opal Desmond mason (basically opal KPJ)

Offence Very comparable to opal KPJ, base 49 on very quick, slightly worse shooter, slightly better dunker and defender. Can’t play PG but has Pro 3 BTB. Obviously can Curry slide. All other signatures are that of a clone. No steady unlike KPJ, however, is missing flexible and deadeye so they balance out. Should be a baller over here.

Defence I believe he has Kawhi stance, if he does he will be better than KPJ if not he will be very average on defence. Missing the interior defence badges but has all of them on the perimeter. He is 6’7 with a 6’10 wingspan. Above average on D I guess. 95 lateral, 92 steal, 70 block, 76 interior.

Should I cop? Slightly better KPJ for the same price, be my guest to cop. However, he ain’t better than a certain Sg/Sf opal also released today.

TL;DR KPJ Clone, will be cheap, recommend copping.

Overall a good batch of cards today. Will be posting all 31 spotlight cards in 3 hours (ish) I need an hour to rest lol.
