I'm not a fan of every 99 overall card playing relatively the same aside for sigs and tendencies. I would love if they leaned into more meaningful team building based on player's play styles. Not every card needs to be able to handle the ball and shoot at near half court range. Ideally I think that would help with experimenting with lineups with their own strengths and weaknesses rather than focusing on the meta. Imagine having the option to create a 7 seconds or less lineup with a focus on speed, rebounding and pass accuracy but lack size and interior defense. Or a Perimeter centered lineup with boosts to outside shooting but lack post play.
