Howdy,

This is the sign up thread for the game Mahou Shoujo. Run by me and Shotgun. It will be starting July 13th. and running for 4 weeks the last day being August 7th and an epilogue on August 10th.

Character creation will pop up right after sign ups are done. I will be holding signs up for about of a week or if I feel comfortable enough closing it with the amount there is.

Prologues will begin as soon as you make a character.

This game will mostly be akin to solo adventures or prologues. Player interaction between each other will happen, but it will not play a significant part of the game. I know this will not be everyone's cup of tea, and if it isn't don't force yourself to sign up.

The setting for this game is one you would expect for a typical Mahou Shoujo anime. Mostly urban with a hint of fantasy.

Instead of directly acting with players. How each player interacts with the world and how they deal with the scenarios they are given will indirectly affect everyone else. Everything you do to the world will change things for the other players involved.

The game will have a unique format running from Saturday 10 am CST to Wednesday 11 pm CST. There will be a 'common room' on Wednesday. Starting at Midnight of Tuesday CST. The players are not physically present in the common room, it is more of a chat room. You do not have to participate in the common room. Common room is more for letting players get to know each other's characters better and less about planning. It is also a means of giving everyone information at once. Such as which player will be killed that week.

PMing other players is allowed as long as the other player gave you a means of communicating with them. Please keep in the mind the game runs during the week and you can expect some delays between messages from both the host as well as other players.

There will be no action PMs. Most of the game will be run in the solo adventure format.

Players can find each other in the city, and they are allowed to harm or kill each other. They are also allowed to directly help one another with their task.

Because of this, it is important you inform the GMs if you won't be active for sometime. And how you would generally act towards certain situations. We as GMs will do our best to play your character to the best of their abilities in situations where another player is involved and it is imperative that we move the scene forward. This shouldn't be a common occurrence, but this is here so you have a heads up.

Each week their will be one major task each player has to accomplish. It is recommened that they do the majority or all of the tasks on Saturday and Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are more of buffers or for you to do explore the world and lore. It is not expected of you to be heavily involved during the weekdays. How you handle the task you are given will determine how well you do for the week. At least one character will die per week. Either via another player or whoever performed the worst in their task.

There will be talent trees for your magic.

Like all Ave games their is an element of RNG. Please keep this in mind before signing up.

The host will be playing the majority of NPCs. Audience may be allowed to make one, but they will play no significant role whatsoever to the game.

I am only looking for a minimum of 5 players and a maximum of 6.
