This is probably being put up a little early, but hey whatever. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of time for character creation. As odd as they may sound for a game where you play previous characters. In anycase this is the recruitment thread for Parody House 2. A game run by me and only me. The game is scheduled to begin on August 12th 2017 and last until September 9th 2017 for a total of 5 games days with a finale occurring on September 16th 2017. Days will run from 11 AM CST on Saturday to 11 PM CST on Sunday so 36 hours days. There won’t be any extensions of common room nor will you be allowed to send PMs after the common room ends. Action PMs will be due 24 hours after thread being closed.

I am only going to be accept a max of 12 Players. ...I don't know how many yet just know it will be more than 12. I hold my right to pick whoever I want in this. So if I don’t chose you for whatever reason, please understand that it isn’t because I hate you or anything, but I am very selective of my cast in this one...as cruel as that might sound. The setting takes place in Penny’s head she a 5 year old girl who survived a death game. A character I previously played in HoF3. Your actions inside the game will greatly influence the development of this character and the world surrounding her. There will be no exploration in this game. There will be host similiar to Death Nexus 1 and 2. Penny is not a host she is god of this world. Each character will be given two spells one they select for themselves as their character. It can be literally anything, but it will be interpreted by a 5 year old. You will also be given a spell by Penny. For the most part characters will respawn in this. However, there is ways to perma die and you will be notified in game how they may occur. It is important to note that every player must play a character from a previous game. Either for HoF subreddit or PBP subreddit(or if a sudden chicken wingz game is ran that would count too.) You may play other persons character if they give you permission and they notify me as such. You may play as previous NPCs and Host if you so chose. No new characters will be accepted. You may not play as multiple of your characters.

This is a parody style game so I do expect jokes and goofs. However, I don’t want this to be a bring all your memes and make this a complete meme game. You may exaggerate your character, but please remember you are still playing as that character. Don’t change them drastically for the sake of being a meme. I can’t control how you roleplay but this isn’t a do whatever you want type of game...there is still rules and I expect you to play as your character. Anything that really alters your character must be discussed with me and will most likely be given to you as a spell/ability.

And now for disclaimers. PH2 is a very heavily RNG game unlike most HoF style games. Acts of god will very much be a thing. PH2 is not balanced in the slightest. Things will be super unfair for some characters. However if anything is starting to get frustratingly unfun for you I am always willing to listen to feedback. I want everyone to enjoy the game obviously. Just don’t expect things to go your way. Day 3’s action PMs will be written while I am drunk. They may not be decipherable and they may be missing information. That is half the point though. Still I feel like you should know this before hand.

Day 4 may be my stupidest idea yet but….Day 4 characters during the action phase will not be interacting with any of the other player character. Everyone will be going on a solo adventure. You will be able to communicate with each other in the common room that day but will not be able to interact physically with them. PMs will be done a little differently as well. You will be given information about your adventure during common room, you will write an action PM like usual due at the sametime on Monday September 4th. Tuesday September 5th I will write and give you another PM. You will have until 11 PM Wednesday September 6th to give me another PM. Thursday September 7th I will write another PM and give it to you. You have until Friday September 8th at 11 PM to give me the final PM. Saturday September 9th will start at the sametime for Day 5. I realize this is a bigger commitment than usual. However these PMs will be significantly shorter and I don’t expect full fledged action PMs to be written for each one. Just please keep this in mind before signing up. Think of them more as addendums, and partial PMs then full on PMs.

I am probably forgetting something, but that is good enough for now.

Edit: Slight edit if you have been paying attention in Discord I am more than likely going to pick more than 12 players... I might pick everyone but that isn't certain yet.

I am also going to put in here there is a possibility I will need an extra week for the game. So I am moving the end game date September 16 with the finale a week after... this isn't a for certain thing and I might not need the extra week but I want to make sure everyone is aware of the possibility of a week break due to unforeseen circumstances. You will know in advance the week the break may take place.
