You sound like a very reasonable Demon Slayer fan, but I’ve interacted with many who are…less so, haha. Some do think the story is a cut above, and I’ve even seen some rank it over stuff like Hunter X Hunter. But it is probably the most popular anime in the world right now, so it’s bound to attract both lots of hate and lots of crazy devotion, both extremes being kind of silly.
