Buying my first real car and I'm thinking about this pony.

It's a 2006 V6 Deluxe. It has about 81,000 miles on it and i'm looking to use it as my daily driver. It's currently listed at about $5000. I'm hoping to get the price down a little, but would this be a solid/reliable/affordable/fairly safe first car for me to buy for myself?
