Hi there, me and my friend started looking at this 1976 Cobra Mustang 2 as a joke and now are considering it as our potential pet project. An 86 yr old lady is selling it, claims it was her late husband’s and she doesn’t know much. Car won’t start she said, and she last remembers it running at least 7 years ago when her husband was still out and about. I had to walk her through opening the hood to see if it even had an engine. It does have an engine (see pics) but I don’t know enough about older cars to determine if it’s any good. In general I’d like to know people’s thoughts on the car and if it would be a good buy. Also how much to offer. She’s asking 1500 but I think that’s insane. She honestly doesn’t know much but she’s a sweet lady. My goal would honestly just be to have it as something to get running and take to prom. I’m not looking to do a full restore and fix everything because I’m not that guy. So please take a look and tell me anything you’d like to tell me. Thanks!
